Sulphur-crested cockatoo voice: raucous, shattering screeches; sharp squawks; whistles

Southern boobook voice: well-known; quick, falsetto ‘boobook’ or ‘morepork’, oft-repeated; also, seldom heard, falsetto ‘yo-yo-yo-yo’, mostly in autumn; near nest, drawn-out, rising, cat-like ‘brrrwow’ and low, monotonous ‘mor-mor-mor’, young birds; cricket-like trills
