ANYONE CAN HELP — MAKING A DIFFERENCE FOR ENVIRONMENTAL BUSHFIRE RECOVERY

We recently took part in a Constructing Nesting Boxes event, as part of Conservation Volunteers Bushfire Recovery (Melbourne), and helped to cut hinges from a sheet of rubber and screw them to the lids, and sand sheets of exterior plywood for the next batch of temporary homes.

Together, thirty-five volunteers made twenty nesting boxes, and it warmed the heart to be a part of something positive.
