Recently landed: Sanctuary
Through our artwork and our care work, as artists and wildlife careers, we seek to illuminate the many and wondrous ways in which the more-than-human or the other-than-human beings experience, sense, and perceive the world. When we pay attention to other beings and unseen but sensed energy forces, like rivers, mycelial networks, trees, the wildlife around us, side by side, the interconnectedness of all things is apparent.
Sometimes our artwork informs our care work, but more often than not, it is the other way around. Sometimes they are two different lands, and sometimes they reveal themselves to actually be the same thing, originating from the same source. We encounter the effects, firsthand, of human encroachment into wild habitats. And we try to pour the consequences of this and potential solutions to this, in turn, into our artwork.
